After killing several waves and waves, and dying a lot, I got greeted by the loading screen and started another NGPlus. It was some challenge, I think the title was "old dravaiser - hunt" and I went into a room and enemies spawned and I died a lot. So I exited to the main menu and resumed my game, went back to the castle, wandered around the unfinished city for a moment (looks neat btw) and then went back to another portal.
I fired off spells all over the place hoping to trigger something, but nothing happened. There was a raised area, but it was too steep to climb and I could not blink my way up. No enemies, no stuff to break, no portal to travel back with. I went into one room that was a huge glacier pit filled with nothing.
I tried the new game plus mode last night.
